Updates - March 2025

Registry accounts per Product or Point, explicit Payment date vs On or before, updated trade confirmation contract, improved menus and more

TRADE IMPROVEMENTS

We are excited to share with you all the trade experience improvements we have made available for you. There are many; feel free to Book a meeting with us for a quick demo.

PAYMENT DATE

Explicit

Payment date has up till now been implied directly based on the delivery date. The Standard has been 5 working days after the Delivery. We now show this date in all screens and dialogs:

Customizable

This is now both very explicit, and it is customizable when creating a new interest:

Interest dialog allows setting payment date when creating bids/asks

If it is changed from Standard we will highlight it:

Payment date is accepted and pre-agreed

When hitting a Bid or Ask the party will by that Accept the selected Payment date.

For automatic matching, this will also be respected, ie differences in Payment date will not automatically match.

Prepayment

This feature also facilitates prepayment scenarios. If you have not completed KYC (Know Your Customer) verification for your counterpart, both parties can agree to a prepayment arrangement, which can now be directly selected on the interests and reflected in the resulting trades and contracts.

DELIVERY ON OR BEFORE

Earlier this year we changed the wording on Delivery from a plain Delivery date to Delivery On or before. This change was initiated based on multiple customer requests.

After this change we have received opposite feedback from other client, that this poses a risk to buyers.

Some clients have feared Delivery on or before poses a risk to buyers, due to the assumption or business practice that early delivery imply early payment.

The inferred problem seem to be that early delivery imply early payment. Our contract however has always specified the Payment date, so contractually,  when using our contracts, this has not been the case.

Explicit Payment date handling, launched now, removes any ambiguity (if any existed)  in early Delivery vs early Payment. Hitting or placing interests now includes an explicit choice on Payment dates.

Now, on all screens, you are explicitly accepting the concrete Payment date selected by the Counterpart, be it Standard or a specific choice by the poster.

Please see the above section re Payment date for more details.

REGISTRY ACCOUNTS

You can now register separate default accounts for each subscribed Product Group, EECS, I-REC, etc. A default fallback for all EAC trades is also provided.

In addition Delivery Point accounts can be specified, so for instance trades delivered to NECS will be correctly mapped to your registered account for NECS, and inserted directly into the trade confirmations and contracts.

We are considering also allowing for Origin-specific mapping, say all Nordic grid-connected trades should go to my Finextra account by default, unless a specific point is specified . If this is something of interest please email us at support@greenpowerhub.com.

You will find this in your Company menu - under Bank and Registry Accounts: https://app.greenpowerhub.com/settings/company/bankAndClearing

Please note that you need relevant Roles, currently SuperUser, to be able to change these settings. See our Roles and Permissions page for full details.

BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION

In a similar fashion as the Registry accounts, the bank information you have provided under your Company settings, is now used in the new and improved Trade confirmations, as well as other contracts where relevant.

You will find this in your Company menu - under Bank and Registry Accounts: https://app.greenpowerhub.com/settings/company/bankAndClearing

Please note that you need relevant Roles, currently SuperUser, to be able to change these settings.

See our Roles and Permissions page for full details.

TRADE CONFIRMATION - CONTRACT

To be able to use the new Bank and Registry account information we have cleaned up and improved the layout of the Trade confirmation, making Buyer and Seller information immediately visible in a better layout and making room for the aforementioned information.

UI - POST-TRADE NOTIFICATION

We have improved the post-trade dialog to directly show you the counterpart when a trade is done, plus some small visual adjustments we hope you like:

RFQ AND QUOTES

LIVE FEED

You will now get notified directly in the live feed when you are invited to a new RFQ.

This is in addition to the existing email notification.

Similarly, when running a RFQ, new quotes will be displayed in the live feed for your convenience.

PUBLIC RFQ CHAT

We have improved the visual experience both on the RFQ Page and in the Chat interface, to stronger highlight that this chat is "public" among the RFQ Participants:

At the same time we improved quote chat:

QUOTE CHAT

Made it clear that this is a quote chat, and separated it visually from the actual quote to improve alignment when multiple quoters are received, hope you approve:

quotes are better aligned with interests, quote chat badge added and displays details when hovered

UI IMPROVEMENTS

MENU

There has been quite a few UI-optimizations done, perhaps the most visible  is the new Menu.
We have tried to modernize it and organize it better, making the choices clearer, as well as improve it on smaller screens.

If you have new unread chats it should now be even clearer.

Also we have added Keyboard navigation to the menu check it out with cmd K on Mac or Ctrl K on PCs. Also this is another quick way to search for and navigato to menu elements including FAQ articles!

CHAT COLOR

A small but requested change, increase the contrast of our own chat messages. We thank you for the feedback and it should now haver a much higher contrast ratio:

HELP PAGE

The Help page hase been improved, and reorganized. We have added a lot of videos, for both new and old functionality. You'll find the Help section in the user menu, under Help & Support:
