Roles and permissions

Give the correct access to your users by adding and removing roles

To have access to Green Power Hub (GPH) you need to be added to a company's user list.

Each user can be added to one or more roles, depending on the specific task they need to fulfill.

Below you'll find an overview of each role and the tasks they are allowed to perform.

Trade viewer

Can view all trades in the market and within own company, typically used for BackOffice users or for non-trading companies.

Trader

A trader can buy and sell in the market covered by the license.

Has full access to Own interests and can cancel these. A trader can also view public, own, and company trades.

Will be added as a required signer to own trades.

Trade manager

The trade manager has access to all company trades and interests and can cancel all live interests. The manager can also request and approve the cancellation of trades.

Configuration and setup of Clearing is also a task that only Trade managers and SuperUsers can do.

Connection manager

Connection managers are in charge of Trade partners and relations. They can invite, accept, remove and pause trade partner relationships.

See Add partners and Manage partners for details.

If you are missing a counterparty from GPH, the connection manager can invite them with just two clicks using the Missing someone feature

User manager

User managers can manage users and roles for the company, adding, changing, and deleting as necessary. Additional licenses may need to be bought if you are exceeding your current license. See [User management]

SuperUser

Setup Company details, profile, and banking details are all tasks the SuperUser can do.

Only a SuperUser can set up another SuperUser in the company, that's in addition to the other tasks a User Manager can perform.

A SuperUser can assist in Configuration and setup of Clearing,  see also Trade managers.

Roles in Trade and E-signing

In addition to the roles of each user, there are specific roles tied to the Trade process.
