How can you log me in without knowing my password
By utilizing secure industry standards protocols like SAML 2.0 and WS-Fed we are able to log you in while your password still is your secret.
The process is based on establishing trust-relationships between the involved parties and if your company are using Office 365 they have setup a relationship allowing Microsoft to trust your company to authenticate your own accounts using your internal authentication providers (Active Directory, ADFS etc).
This allows your company to manage internal password policies and information security standards while still allowing single-sign-on to external services like Green Power Hub.
